JNA trims Senior, Under-21, squads
NETBALL: The Jamaica Netball Assoc-iation (JNA) selected 41 players at its trials over weekend, who will begin training for the national senior and under-21 squads.
Players selected for the senior squad are Ann Marie Bryan, Cleopatra Grant, Corealette McDonald, Tomika Hall, Laverne McKenzie, Nekeisha Cohen, Odette Boyd, Ionie Virgo, Natalie Skyers, Heather Thomas, Elfreida Reid, Petra Williams, Latoya Bidwell, Tasha Morgan, Audrey Edwards, Neisha Wolfe, Andrea Markland, Natanya Morgan, Georgina Hibbert, Janet Coleman, Simone Forest and Tashna Walker.
The Under-21 players are Andrea James, Letesha Levy, Nicola Strachan, Kadian Holness, Sasha Shaw, Leisha Manning, Marie Berry, Michelle Ann Ottey, Amira Haase, Natasha Copeland, Diana Dunkley, Taneisha Senior, Karen Edwards, Ellerine Butler, Neisha Reid, Vanessa Bartley, Suzette Campbell and Latoya Brown.
Meanwhile, defending champions JAMALCO gained a walkover from Ebony Strikers B who did not show up for their Jamaica National Building Society Open League match-up on Saturday.
