'MIXED FEELINGS'
The offical opening, to begin at 6:30 p.m., will be done by Berl Francis, managing director of Berl Francis & Company Limited.
Mr. Campbell is known for his pieces depicting Jamaican women, while Mr. Tucker focusses on Jamaican landscapes and people.
The exhibition is scheduled to run for two weeks.
The report on the work done by Mexican experts in the areas of conservation, restoration and maintenance on art works at the National Gallery of Jamaica will be officially presented to the gallery on Thursday.
The ceremony is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. and is scheduled to be attended by representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and Education and Culture, as well as the Mexican Embassy. The work was done under the auspicies of a programme of co-operation between Jamaica and Mexico.
Separate Realities is the title of the final-year exhibition being put on by students of the Visual Arts Depart-ment of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing arts (EMCVPA).
The show, which was scheduled to open on May 26, will run until June 9, and can be viewed between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily.
Exhibits on display include painting, ceramics, graphics, sculpture, jewellery and textiles.
The exhibition of miniatures and small works at the Mutual Life Gallery, 2 Oxford Road in New Kingston continues until Friday.
The exhibition showcases works by several artists, including Johanna Brasch, Alexander Cooper, Christopher Gonzalez, Rex Dixon, Stafford Schliefer, Kacey Shay, Prudence Howell and Melisande Potter-Hall; ceramic pieces by Norma Harrack, David Pinto and Phillip Supersad; and sculptures by Michael Bonnick, Els Meijns and Basil Watson.
