What is the cause of rebellious attitudes among teenagers?

Rory Welsh, Contributor

1. Stephanie, Age 19

They are rebellious because they have to follow rules. Furthermore, it's a way to get back at parents and society.

2. Rajpert, Age 15

Teens usually follow peer groups, and when they get caught, only their parents can help them.

3. Roxanne, Age 15

Parents don't allow their children to have enough freedom, and when they get in trouble they blame it on parents

4. Tracy, Age 19

It's because of their background, community, music, peer pressure and lack of self discipline.

5. Shemeka, Age 16

They usually follow bad company: for example, they want to look good and follow the latest style.

6. Yacheka, Age 16

Because teens love to have their own way and they are disobedient.
