Why a Little-White Fund?

THE EDITOR, Madam:

A PR campaign has been launched in this newspaper and other media houses, asking the public to support a fund raising function for the therapy of Dr. Heather Little-White. Wouldn't a Heather Little-White Fund for the Mona Rehabilitation patients or the many disabled gunshot and/or accident victims in the ghettos and in the deep rural areas be more relevant and Christian?

Thank God that in spite of Dr. Little-White's disability she is able to lecture, write, manage a business and be a nutrition consultant to public and private companies. She is able to make her life easier by refurbishing her townhouse with ramps and employ two nurses and a driver.

My challenge to her and her friends is to extend the fund to include those disabled persons who are not as financially able as she is and who do not have influential and caring friends.

I am, etc.,

J. COLEMAN
