Gov't caught napping

THE EDITOR, Madam:

ONCE AGAIN the people in Government have been caught napping. All the counter-arguments I have heard regarding the patenting of the electronic voting system reeks of negligence and lack of forward thinking.

Now because of this taxpayers' money will have to be used to sort out this mess; money that could have been used for the patenting in the first place.

Come on! Wake-up! Someone must be blamed and made accountable for these unfortunate situations.
