Lady Saw to sign with Shocking Vilbes Records

Lady Saw

DANCEHALL PERFORMER, Lady Saw, is about to sign a full management contract with Shocking Vibes Records.

She made the announcement Sunday, at Champions In Action show, Fort Clarence and confirmed it in an interview with The Gleaner. In addition, the performer said she had been without management for a long time and was now ready to get her career streamlined.

This will not be the first time that Lady Saw would be working with the entertainment company which has brought success to people like Beenie Man, Tanto Metro and Devonte, Ghost, Little Kirk, Silver Cat and others. In the past, she had signed a booking agreement with the company.

"It will not be a new arrangement for us working with Lady Saw," said Patrick Roberts, head of Shocking Vibes.

"It will be our first time handling her in a management capacity where we will take care of all aspects of her career. Our goal will be to take her to the next level and gain better positioning for her in the marketplace. As long as she's committed to the process, we'll take her as far as she can go," he said.
