Letter of the Day - Reducing Kingston's traffic congestion
THE EDITOR, Madam: WHILST I congratulate the Government, moreso the Ministry of Transport and Works, for the effort being made to help solve the problem of traffic congestion in the island, I would like to point out some areas that demand urgent if not..

On abolishing concessions
THE EDITOR, Madam: LET ME get this right. In order to curtail fraud under the 20 per cent concession scheme the government is thinking of totally abolishing the scheme. This is the laziest solution to a problem I have ever heard!

'Gay rights' clarification
THE EDITOR, Madam: YOUR HEADLINE on today's front page "Thwaites defends gay rights" is misleading and a utter distortion of what I said in the House of Representatives.

Careless paraphrase
THE EDITOR, Madam: I WOULD like my name to be cleared as quickly as possible. My negative feelings about hanging appeared in yesterday's VOX POP, but what I said was summarised and rather carelessly paraphrased.
