THE EDITOR, Madam:
WITH MY memory of reading I think the Holy Bible is the highest peak of inspiration and also the writers of the Bible were the most inspired members of the human race the world has ever produced.
It is said a law man is 'well learned' but could a 'Bible man' not also be described as 'well learned'?
When a man is about to commit an immoral or uncharitable act, if he could only picture the Bible I think he would change his mind. And if some parents had given their children strict Bible instructions today, we would have a much better disciplined Jamaica.
Had it not been for the Bible we would be like wild animals unmindful of a God who watches the movements of human-kind. The word of God prompts, directs, guides, enlightens, protects and shields.
I am, etc.,
