In need of phones

THE EDITOR, Madam:

WE THE members of The Balaclava/or Ford Area Group of the Jamaica Red Cross Society, the citizens association and the youth club of Oxford District along with the residents of the districts of Auchtembeddie, Roses Valley, Evergreen, Epping Forest and Comfort Hall are humbly asking Cable & Wireless to install telephones in our communities. Even public phones would be highly appreciated.

Since 1998 we have been applying for telephones and no response. We are law-abiding citizens and we do not want to block roads to get our message across.

I am, etc.,

RAY SEAL
