'I am available for commissions of enquiry'

THE EDITOR, Madam:

I WOULD like to offer my services to the government of Jamaica for any further commissions of enquiry, as most citizens would, after reading that the commissioners of the Montego Bay Street People Enquiry were paid $10,000 per day for 30 days, plus travelling and hotel expenses, $300,000 for one month's work. Man! I would offer my services for half of that substantial pay cheque.

So please remember me as more scandals unfold, I would be available for perhaps one enquiry per month, I figure that after a dozen or so I could retire and spend my leisure time writing letters to you the editor.

I am, etc.,

TERENCE MORGAN
