VossMR. NAZIR AHAMAD, chairman of Guardian Holdings, has appointed Mr. Gary Voss to the Boards of Guardian Holdings as well as its subsidiary company, Guardian Life of the Caribbean, Trinidad & Tobago.
Gary Voss is a chemical engineer by profession, with an honours degree from Birmingham University. His early career was spent with the (then) Texaco Pointe-a-Pierre refinery, the Caribbean Industrial Research Institute (CARIRI) and ISCOTT, joining the new steel mill when it was still under construction.
Mr. Voss is currently the chairman and managing director of Lever Brothers West Indies. He is also a director of RBTT Finance Holdings and several of its subsidiaries.
Guardian Holdings is the parent company of Jamaica's Guardian Life, West Indies Alliance Insurance Company (formerly Royal & Sun Alliance) as well as Star Technologies.
