ISSA ought to be more vigilant

THE EDITOR, Madam:

THE RECENT expulsion of Clarendon College from the Ben Francis KO competition for using an ineligible player (3 yellow cards) must have been disappointing and indeed traumatic for many reasons associated with the hapless team.

In future, ISSA should ensure that only eligible players take the field in all official matches, instead of waiting until after the events and protests to visit draconian punishment on offenders.

Couldn't the match be replaced?

I am, etc.,

V.E. 'RUKSHUS' MUIR)
