THE EDITOR, Madam:
I AM replying to a letter that someone wrote to you condemning the Honourable K.D Knight. I am not encouraging the content of his speech but I want to say that his job is not easy. The writer even agrees that there are wider issue such as economic, political and social issues to consider.
I just hate to see people who want to sit and describe the man as "incompetent" while if they were in the same position they would have expressed the same view out of anger - again I am not agreeing with what K.D. said but I did not hear the writer once mention the policeman who died and his family! The man was 60 years old for God sakes!
What gives them the right to take someone else's life and walk free.
