Heineken Startime ready to roll again

ALTON ELLIS, Gregory Isaacs will be headliners at Heineken Startime's grand finale, billed The Magnificent Seven...Part 2 set for the Mas Camp Village, on Saturday, February 10, at 9:00 p.m.

Gregory, who has not appeared in Kingston for some time, will share the stage with such vintage rock steady and reggae music exponents as his mentor and musical inspiration Alton Ellis, John Holt and Phyllis Dillon.

Marcia Griffiths is to return by popular demand, as well the 'godfather of all DJs', U-Roy who will also return after a smashing, still-talked-about performance at the Get Ready Rock Steady revue last year.

After 28 successful years as one of Jamaica's leading recording artistes, Gregory's career is about to enter another level with his Grammy nomination for this year.

Gregory has the distinction of being the first artiste to perform on the phenomenal vintage series in June 1988 and for this, his fourth appearance since, he plans to give another outstanding performance.

Alton Ellis is a rarity. The consummate singer of rock steady and reggae songs made his mark very early in his career.
