Morin Seymour new PALS head

THE BOARD of Directors of PALS Jamaica has appointed Morin Seymour as its chairman. Mr. Seymour succeeds Oliver Clarke, founder and first chairman of the conflict resolution education initiative. Mr. Clarke will continue to serve as a director of PALS.

Mr. Seymour is the chief executive officer of the Kingston Restoration Company (KRC) and serves on the boards of several other companies. He brings to PALS, expertise in the mobilisation of financial resources as well as his knowledge and experience in the revitalisation of inner-city communities and the development of urban programmes.

The other members of the PALS Board are: Mrs. Marguerite Bowie; Custos Weeville Gordon; Messrs. Lester Spaulding, Neville James, Franklin McKnight, Winston Ridgard, Lincoln Robinson, Charles Ross, Byron Farquharson, Lloyd Smith, Lloyd Van Bylvelt, Dr. Earl Wright, Mrs. Angella Patterson, Mrs. Judith Spencer-Jarrett, Mrs. Cecile Walden and Mrs. Marion Zacca.

PALS Jamaica is continuing its work in maintaining its conflict resolution programme in the primary and all-age schools in Jamaica.
