Boyz should promote road safety

THE EDITOR, Madam:

OKAY. ONE of the Boyz is dead, another is reported to have been in an accident in which a woman was killed. Sad, very sad news. But let's make something good come of these tragedies.

How many people died on the roads in motor vehicle accidents last year? How many died the previous year? Over the last decade?

We can ride on the profile of the Boyz to help stem the flow of blood on the roads. If there is a glimmer of hope in this dark situation, that is it. Road Safety people, Football Federation, over to you. What are you waiting for? Get the campaign going!
