Questions on the intrinsic goodness of humans

THE EDITOR, Madam:

IF HUMAN beings are intrinsically good, then please explain the following:

1) Were they born good?

2) If they were born good how and when did they become bad?

3) Why are so few persons, if any, good?

4) Why has everyone a conscience?

5) Why is there need of a Saviour?

6) Why is the church necessary?
