Celebrities for Actor Boy Awards


Paul Campbell and Beenie Man

GRAMMY AWARD-winning DJ Beenie Man and Jamaican film star Paul Campbell are expected to head an all-star list of presenters for this year's Tenth Annual Actor Boy Awards Gala, slated for the Little Theatre, Monday, March 26 at 8:00 p.m.

They will join a line-up of celebrities spanning the worlds of stage, screen and music who will be performing or presenting awards.

Spragga Benz and Kymani Marley, who co-star with Campbell in the upcoming film 'Shottas', are also to join Dancehall Queen Carlene, Madd Anju, Karen Harriott, David Heron, Glen Campbell, Bertina Macaulay, Deon Silvera, Kathy Owen, Farenheit, Father Holung and Friends, Bello and Blacka, Smile Jamaica's Neville 'Bertis' Bell on the show which will honour excellence in Jamaican theatre last year.

Emcee will be Fae Ellington.

Veteran actor and broadcaster Charles Hyatt is set to receive the International Theatre Institute Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to stage, screen and radio, while the popular young band Zinc Fence will provide musical entertainment for the night.

The theme for this year's show is Send In The Clowns ­ A Celebration of Comedy in Theatre.
