Downtown carnival focuses on 'Pretty Mas'

ROWLAND NOEL is the man with the Carnival savvy who is busy planning for the staging of the event downtown Kingston. According to Mr. Noel, the Downtown Carnival activities have been conceptualised to unravel in two separate stages.

Chris Blackwell inducted into Hall of Fame

JAMAICA'S MUSICAL luminary and philanthropist Chris Blackwell was on Monday night inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at a ceremony held at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. The ceremony is to be aired tonight at 9:00 on VH1.

Gleaner's former and present editors feted
LOOKING WELL rested and sporting a new hairdo, Wyvolyn Gager, former editor-in-chief of The Gleaner took to the dance floor with Garfied Grandison, new editor-in-chief at a reception Saturday night hosted by public relations consultant Don Creary.
