Poor Old Harbour road

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM writing about the condition of the road leading to Old Harbour High School in the parish of St. Catherine. The road is in a deplorable condition. I write this letter because I am a student who attends the high school and students, teachers and drivers are suffering badly because of the large potholes in the road.

These potholes are so huge that whenever it rains, they are filled with water and any size human being can swim in them. As the drivers are afraid to drive on the road, there is a shortage of taxis and this causes the students either to come to school late, or to be absent.

As a student of Old Harbour High School, I strongly request that the government through its relevant authority, take immediate steps to fix this road.

I am, etc.,

SHERESE TIMOLL
