'Review bauxite standards please'
THE EDITOR, Sir: At last! Thank you for two articles in The Sunday Gleaner, dated March 18, that document the ongoing environmental damage and health threat caused by Kaiser Jamaica Bauxite Co. (KJBC).

Leave 'Brer Anancy' alone
THE EDITOR, Sir: Kindly allow me space in your paper to express my disgust with reference to an article published in The Sunday Gleaner dated March 18, 2001, where some teachers were calling for "Anancy" stories to be banned.

Too malicious, Ms Ritch
THE EDITOR, Sir: Dawn Ritch has outdone herself. In her indecent haste to attack the Government and specifically FINSAC, she has written what has to be the most malicious piece of nonsense written by a Gleaner commentator in a long time.
