Letters

Letter of the Day Pension double standard
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WISH to make a public apology to Mr. Robert Solomon Henry of Lot 11, North Monticello Crescent, Spanish Town.

Wrong plaza named in kidnapping episode
THE EDITOR, Sir: ON MONDAY March 19, 2001 an article appeared in The Gleaner written by A.C. Warner titled:' So long, Jamaica', in which the writer stated that his father with two young boys were kidnapped in Manor Park Plaza.

Green areas and housing
THE EDITOR, Sir: IT HAS been proven over and over again that "where there is no vision the people perish". It's true of our political leaders who lack vision and are only content to make their mark for 'good' or 'evil'.

An awful day
THE EDITOR, Sir: On March 6 I left home for work but had to retrace my steps home because I lost a shoe heel. The road is like a gully. I then left again for the bus stop.
