Murder suspect sought for questioning


James

THE POLICE are searching for Troy James, 25, nicknamed "Stamma" of Haughton district, St. Elizabeth, for questioning about the murder of 14-year-old Kameika Green and the wounding of Tyrone Seaton in the community on Sunday, March 18.

Reports from the CCN, St. Elizabeth, are that about 7:45 p.m., the young girl was at a premises at Haughton district when a dispute developed between James and another man. James reportedly left and returned shortly after with a handgun.

He allegedly kicked open the door of the house and opened fire at the occupants. Green and two of the occupants ran from the house and were chased onto the main road, where she was shot several times. She died at the scene. Mr. Sea-ton, who suffered gunshot wounds to the mouth, has been ad-mitted to hospital.

Anyone with information which can assist in locating James, who has a scar on the right wrist is being asked to call the Lacovia Police at 966-6844, "Crime Stop" at 1888-991-4000, 119 or the Crime Management Unit at 978-4109 and 978-2483.
