Though he didn't quite understand it then, John Stamp's life, from the start was not going to be easy. His, is a remarkable and inspirational story of one who has successfully beaten the odds. He is living proof that one does not have to be bound by circumstances. His life story, "from payroll officer and bearer to systems engineer", is revealed on the community web page www.go-portmore.com.
The second in the series of community web sites recently launched by the Gleaner Company, in conjunction with The Jamaica National Building Society and Sangster's Book Stores, Go-Portmore's personality profile is an opportunity for the unsung heroes to be brought centre stage.
