JAGO, led by off spinner David Lemmie, claimed the Grace Shield schoolboy cricket crown with an emphatic 91-run victory over defending champions Kingston College at Melbourne Oval yesterday.
Scores: St. Jago 204. Kingston College 113.

The Spanish Town team got off to a flying start on yesterday's second day as Kingston College, who were 5-1 overnight founbd themselves in early trouble.
Andrew Dennis failed to add to his overnight score of one as he was bowled by pacer Andre Rowe with the total on 12.
Kingston College's in-form batsman Andre Hall, who scored a century in their semi-final victory over Excelsior, joined his skipper Gregory Buchanan at the crease but did not last long as, with the score on 15, he was sent packing by legspinner Ralston Bell who knocked back his off stump for three runs.
The defending championsz fell into deeper trouble as it was soon 18 for four as Bell struck again when he took an easy return catch off Brian Latore, who failed to trouble the scorers.
Buchanan and Sheldon Alliman did some repair work for their team as they batted sensibly, pushing the ball around for easy singles and looked like taking their team near to their opponents' score. However, that was not to be as Lemmie broke through the defence of Buchanan and bowled him for 31 with the score on 84.
The fall of Buchanan's wicket signalled the end for Kingston College as they lost three quick wickets for five runs to be 89 for eight. These included Jamie Trenchfield and Nicholas Morrison for zero and Alliman for 25.
Despite a gallant inning of 23 from Craig Lynch, the writing was on the wall for the Purples as they were all out for 113.
Supporting Lemmie in the bowling department were Bell with 3-19 off 12 overs and Rowe with 2-27 off 13 overs.
St. Jago will now meet Wilco champion St. Elizabeth Technical in the All Island Spaulding Cup final later this month.
