Treat criminals harshly

THE EDITOR, Sir

CRIMINALS SHOULD be treated just as how they treat their victims. We have to develop measures that dissuade these bad elements from criminal activity. Our prisons should be no Emerald City, but more like the dog kennel pig sties that they allegedly are.

We cannot have the social delinquents living in our penal institutions off hard-earned taxes. They should be put to work and made to suffer and the guilty on death row are to be put to death. They are a terrible waste of space and time.
