A good stance against violence

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I READ the report of students marching for peace and I am proud of them for that act. They are showing a strong sense of purpose. They want to take charge of their lives and not be cowered into fear by violence.

I like them. I really like these nice young Jamaicans. At least we have good reason to plan for their future from afar. May the power of God guide them to success in all their endeavours, and protect them from harm. Nice young people; very nice move.
