Dr Gregory is off-base

THE EDITOR, Sir:

HAS DR. Howard Gregory lost his mind? Does he believe that the churches in Jamaica belong to him? I wonder if he believes that he is God?

Until God's stance on homosexuality and prostitution changes, then I will not change my stance.

From what I hear, this (preacher of the Word) is telling us that we ought take a compromising view in the way we treat the homosexual and prostitution question. His advice sounds to me like we should inject ourselves with AIDS and hope that we come out immune. How do you solve the problem of lack of morality by an increase in immorality?

Dr. Gregory, I can assuredly say that the majority of individuals who will agree with you are those who are either homosexuals, prostitutes, or compromisers. I pray that this will not be the majority of Jamaicans.

I'm truly quite upset with where this nation is going and where our so-called moral leaders are heading.

I am etc.,

SHAUN A. BROOKS
