Tivoli, Jetsetters square off

TIVOLI A will face Jetsetters A today as they attempt to improve their chance of reaching the Berger Paints Senior netball league quarter-final.

The two teams meet in one of three games at the Leila Robinson courts this afternoon at 5:30.

In the other two games, Blades A take on Omega A while Port Esquivel will try to redeem themselves against Hampshire A.

In the most recent round played on Saturday, defending champions Waulgrovians A defeated Tivoli A 64-37, Jetsetters A beat Police A 37-34, Blades A were 37-32 winners over Port Esquivel, Jamalco outplayed Seneca A 80-34, Omega A stopped Eden Strikers 46-35 while Hampshire A bettered Ebony Strikers A 46-28.

Meanwhile, two matches were played in the Masters' League at the weekend.

Green Hornets edged Gold Eagles 28-27 while Orange Gators and Sky Blue Scrapers played to a 24-24 draw.

Navy Troopers got a walkover from Red Rangers who didn't have enough players to field a team that afternoon.

The Masters League is played every Saturday at the Leila Robinson courts with matches starting at 7:00 p.m.
