Hail miss dunoon


Kerry-Ann Bromwell

THE MISS Dunoon Technical High School Contest 2001 ended early Friday night with the crowning of fifteen-year-old Kerry-Ann Bromwell.

The chubby youngster also got the sectional prize for most intelligent and by becoming the new queen, she will enjoy the benefits of a 50 per cent discount on school fee, a limousine tour of Kingston, lunch for two at Le Meridien Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, gifts, a weekend at the Sky Castle resort in Ocho Rios, plus the trophy.

"The feeling is wonderful," Kerry Ann said of her victory. "It is something that I never expected, but I feel good that I came out on top."

The other winners of sectional prizes were Tiffany Thomas, Most Congenial and Most Aware; Jasmine Nelson, Best Smile and Latisha Smith, Most Talented.

Second runner-up was Latoya Wynter who earns a 15 per cent school fee discount, a limousine Tour of Kingston and weekend at Sky Castle. The first runner-up, Tiffany Thomas also enjoys the benefits of a 25 per cent school fee discount, limousine tour of Kingston, Weekend at Sky Castle and lunch for two at The Hilton Hotel, Kingston.
