Mr Burke should consult the PM

Burke

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HEARD Mr. Paul Burke, high-ranking official of the PNP, in an interview on Hot 102's Nationwide on May 9 saying he did not know what a 'don' was.

I recall quite vividly Mr. Patterson assuring the nation in a television broadcast earlier this year that the new anti-crime measures now being pursued by the Crime Management Unit would target dons, among others.

What did the Prime Minister mean when he used the term? Surely, one can target only that of which one is aware and able to identify.

Therefore, Mr. Burke could be taken out of his ignorance quite easily simply by consulting with Prime Minister Patterson on the matter.

I am, etc.,

DONNA GREENWOOD
