In praise of George Morgan

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WAS very impressed with the article about Mr. George Morgan who pursued his dream to become an attorney and attained it at age 60. His story is an inspiration for young and old alike.

Too often people are set back by society's expectations and age. Higher learning (regardless of age) should be encouraged by not only the various lending institutions but the universities as well.

I applaud Mr. Morgan and encourage others to follow his lead, despite obstacles.

I am etc.,

CHRISTINE JENNINGS
