Wendell Eddy Stewart

THE EDITOR, Sir:

PLEASE ALLOW us space in your paper to express our thanks and gratitude to our Member of Parliament Mr. Wendell Eddy Stewart for his support to the Penn Relay track team of the William Knibb Memorial High School over the past three years.

Mr. Stewart has supported our team for the past three years and this year when we were down and out and things seemed dim he again came to our rescue and made it all possible for the team to travel to the games.

We the members of the team would like our Member of Parliament to know that we appreciated his constant assistance to our track team especially this year 2001.

The Penn Relay offers great opportunities to those of us who participate to go forward and sometimes is the way to a scholarship. Our track star Green got his start through this same process. Our MP has always responded to our calls in time of need and has shown us that he really cares about us students.

We are, etc.,

TENAISH WITTER,

CHRISTOPHER BLAKE,

NEGOS SAMUELS,

ROBERT CARTER,

PAUL GRAHAM,

ROY WILLIAMSON

LORENZO INGRAM.
