Chuck's on target

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WOULD like to congratulate Mr. Delroy Chuck on his article of May 30, 2001, which has given an accurate and detailed account of the difficulties we are experiencing in Jamaica.

If everyone agrees that these are the real problems then perhaps we can work together to make things better. I suggest we start with the containment of population growth.

In the meantime we the people and the Government should create a fund to be used to help the thousands of children that are in need. Just look at the children on the streets.

I am, etc.,

LUCI EMANUEL
