THE EDITOR, Sir:
PLEASE PERMIT me space to publicly express thanks to the present Administration for the timely upgrading of the present May Pen Hospital from Type 'C' to Type 'B' which will be realised during the month of August 2001.
I challenge us the residents of Clarendon and the adjoining parishes to make sure that those of us who can afford to contribute the minimal sum that we are asked to put forward for the services rendered should do so without hesitation, bearing in mind that these collections will assist in the preservation of quality services.
It is equally the responsibility of the administrative and all those who form part of the health care body of this institution to continue giving service above selves.
Again thanks to all those who helped in the process to make this a reality.
I am, etc.,
