The pen versus M16

THE EDITOR, Sir:

FELLOW JAMAICANS, a man can learn three ways. One is to read, two is to watch others, and three the most common is to create one's own life experiences and mistakes by fire. Jamaicans, learning by fire you going to get burn. Taking another man's life solves NOTHING.

To be fooled that the use of violence will bring your favourite politician to power is not only foolish but naive.

The power is in your vote. To do that requires a pen, not a M16!

I am, etc.,
