'The Church must act now'
THE EDITOR, Sir: The nation is speeding towards becoming ungovernable. Crime, violence, corruption, drug trafficking are almost out of control.

The role of parents
THE EDITOR, Sir: As the time for the re-opening of schools approaches once more, I become increasingly concerned about our children. My experience so far in the teaching fraternity has been very revealing.

What a wickedness
THE EDITOR, Sir: Kindly allow me to explain to you my grievous state of affairs. As a poor widow I know not where to turn.

Stating a few facts
THE EDITOR, Sir: I write in regard to an article in your newspaper dated Thursday, August 16th captioned "PNP MP defies Parish Council Stop Order." I would like to ask a few questions and then state some facts as I know them.

Congrats Mother's Enterprise
THE EDITOR, Sir: Congratulations to Mother's Enterprise for taking a firm stand against the disrespect and vulgarity displayed by Kip Rich at Reggae Sumfest.

Commendations to the ladies
THE EDITOR, Sir: I must take time out to commend a set of ladies who were busy in the Independence City area on Saturday, August 18, 2001. Decked in their shorts, they painted two pedestrian crossings which for a long time could hardly be seen.
