No good reason for terrorism

THE EDITOR, Sir:

IN RESPONSE to Mr. Randolph Burgess' letter basically saying that the US 'deserved' the terrorists' attacks I wholeheartedly disagree. Yes, I am American and NO President Bush is NOT my and was NOT my favourite choice for President.

However the innocent people, and Mr. Bush for that matter, do not deserved to be murdered in cold blood especially by some coward who has others do his dirty work while he hides in the hills.

I agree that America has its faults. No one is perfect...but what other country so readily accepts others from other countries and welcomes them to live here in order to have a better life, what other country has so readily in the past offered help to others in need when they have had a disaster occur?

There is absolutely no good reason for terrorism whether it be against a whole country or against individual persons.

I am etc.,
