ASA invites 40  AtkinsonTHE Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) has invited 40 swimmers to the national squad in preparation for four major competitions in next year. The list includes, 15 who are either living or training overseas. The senior squad: Adi Atkinson - unattached, Jevon Atkinson - unattached; Ramon James, Dominic Lee, Andrew Saunders - Tornadoes; Shamori Todd - Y Speedos; Alia Atkinson, Janelle Atkinson, Allison Bardowell - unattached; Angela Chuck, Abiona Redwood, Amelia Thompson - Tornadoes; Raine Paulson-Andrews - Montego Bay All Stars; Tamara Swaby - Y Speedos. Junior squad: Nikitta Chinsee - Flying Fish; Gillian Millwood, Tiffany Walton, Kristie Irving, Audette Lawrence - Y Speedos; Renee Wright, Katherine Chen, Samantha Chong, Mariana Chuck, Khaliah Robinson - Tornadoes, Melissa Bardowell - unattached; Travis Forte, Brad Hamilton, Garrick Robinson, John-Claude Wright, Sheridan Chong, Dave Smith, Mattehw Stewart, Anthony Robinson, Timothy Wong - Tornadoes; Alford Green, Todd Johnson, Lemon Lowe, Jason James, Lance Rochester, James Smith - Y Speedos. In its release, the ASAJ said that minimum age for the national senior squad has been reduced from 13 to 11 years and the sqquda membership will be reviewed twice instead of three times per year. The four major meets scheduled for next year: CARIFTA - March, CISC - July, Commonwealth - July, and the CAC Games - October.
