Unsung heroes and heroines

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HAVE to express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the doctors, nurses and ancillary staff, wards 4 and 6 of the Victoria Jubilee Hospital for the care and service rendered to me while a patient at that institution.

They have been 'stormed at with shot' and may no doubt soon will be 'shelled,' yet they have not deserted their post nor abandoned their patients at the hospital.

Some commendation should be given to them for performing so well under such conditions and hostile environment.

May God continue to protect and keep safely these unsung heroes and heroines of our society.

I am, etc.,

MARJORIE S. BROWN
