Melbourne XI meet Shaw Park

A MELBOURNE Invitational side will travel to St. Ann today to oppose a Shaw Park Beach Invitation squad at the Content Gardens Oval.

The rural match is a preview of tomorrow's Milo Melbourne Festival at the club ground on Derrymore Road.

A number of current and former West Indies stars are expected to be in action at both games.

Today the Melbourne team to be captained by Robert Samuels will include former West Indies players Alvin Kallicharran, Faoud Bacchus and Gus Logie current players Marlon Samuels, Wavel Hinds and Colin Stuart. The other members of the squad are Donovan Pagon, Dillon Ebanks, Conroy Miller, Niketa Miller, Ray Stewart and Carlton Baugh Jr.

The Shaw Park squad will be led by Orlando Baker and includes Howard Harris, Narris Campbell, Richard Hoilette, Olanzo Harris, Crofton Clarke, Allan Hay, Andre Dwyer, Richard Francis, Darren Powell, Courtley Laing.
