Book Review - 'Sets a standard, makes a statement'
Do not judge a book by its cover" is good advice. But with this book I make an exception. The cover captures beautifully the subject of the book - Gene Denham.

Colonials with a camera
Recently I had the chance of viewing the Duperlys' printing/photography exhibition currently showing at the National Gallery and what struck me was the Duperlys' evident praise for that which is colonial.


The trouble with artistes is work
Once upon a time you could identify creative souls by the little notebook they would whip out in the middle of a bite at the most elegant dinner party with an "...excuse me, if I don't write this down now I am likely to forget it."
