DANCEHALL PARTY PT. 2

AUTO VISION in association with May Pen Ice presents 'Dancehall Party Pt. 2 - Bounty Killer and Friends in Concert' tonight at the Club 2000 car park. Featuring performances from Bounty Killer, Wayne Marshall, Thriller U, Roundhead, Nitty Kutchie, Captain Barkey and Wickerman amongst others. Music by Paula-Ann Porter and Nite Traxx. Admission $500.

'CHRISTMAS A COME'

The Institute of Jamaica, East Street, Kingston hosts 'Christmas a Come' today from 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. There will be a variety of foods, art and craft, Jonkunnu (mini parade and exhibition Kingston Mall - East Street from 1-2 p.m.) At 12 noon there will be a concert featuring the Bare Essentials. Admission is $50 for adults and children enter free.

KEN BURNS JAZZ

Redbones the Blues Cafe presents part 3 in a 10 part documentary series entitled "Ken Burns Jazz" (The story of the American People) at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow. Admission is $100.

'TWO THE HARD WAY'

JINGLES PROMOTION presents 'Two the Hard Way' at Club Scorpio Entertainment Centre, McLaren Gate, Chambers Pen, Hanover, on Saturday, December 1. Music by Bob Clarke and Top Cat Disco. Admission is $150 presold and $200 at the gate.

BUZZ PRODUCTIONS in association with New Line Motors Company Limited and Supligen will be hosting two shows dubbed 'Divas in Concert' on Saturday December 1, 2001 at the Rose Hall Great House, Montego Bay and on Sunday December 2, 2001 at the Constant Spring Golf Club - Kingston. Featuring Patti La Belle, Gladys Knight and the I-Three. Gates open at 6 p.m. but showtime is at 8 p.m. MCs will be Paula-Ann Porter and Barry G. The after party for the Montego bay Concert will be held at The Brewery and the after party for the Kingston Concert will be held at Constant Spring 'Golf House'. Admission $4,500 (platinum) with open bar available at both shows, $2,500 (gold) available only at the Kingston concert and $1,500 (silver) available at both shows.

'A DECEMBER TO REMEMBER'

After a five-week break, it will be "a December to Remember" as "The Oldies Affair" resumes this Sunday night, December 2, at Rae Town. Music by Venus disco.

Skip Spec Digit' will be
hosted at the Jamaica School of Music Auditorium on Wednesday December 5, starting at 5:30 p.m. Featuring Skip Spec Digit, Maurice Gordon, Sonny Bradshaw, Jill Gibson and many others. Admission $500 and students $300.

Art Exhibition

Katrina Abrahams' Art Exhibition, Expressions of Jamaica at Heather's Garden Restaurant opens tonight, at 7:30.

Bar-b-Que

The Silverstone Citizen's Association/Neighbourhood Watch presents a 'Fundraising Bar-b-que' today at the Community Park beginning at 6 p.m. Admission is $250.

'A Nite of Real War'

There will be 'A Nite of Real War' at Windsor Lawn, St. Ann's Bay, tonight. The Ninja Corporation and English Entourage Link-up production features Ninja Man, Bounty Killer, Monster Shack, Scare Dem Crew, George Nooks, Merciless, Mad Cobra and Mr. Lex. Music by Sound Wave, Tony Matterhorn, Ricky Trooper, Pleasure Play and Integra. Admission is $500.

'Fish Fry'

The Montego Bay Police Youth Club will be having their 'Fish Fry' today at the Police Radio Patrol Division at 29 Church street in Montego Bay. Part proceeds will go to the Montego Bay Police Youth Club outreach.

Concert

Negril Area Environmental Project Trust Fund-raising Committee presents 'Once Upon The Hills', a grand barbecue and concert at Negril Hills Golf Club, today. Featured performers are Ernie Smith, Stanley Beckford, Leroy Sibbles, Ali 'C', Michelle and Jeritol. Backing band is Concrete. Music by Venom disco. Admission: Presold - $750 single, $1,300 couple, $900 at the gate.

'Friday Fury'

The crew at Margueritaville on the Hip Strip, Montego Bay will be hosting a weekend of activities beginning today. The party is dubbed 'Friday Fury' and will feature selections from DJ Yohan. The party continues on Saturday night with Code Red Disco at the helm.

'Into The West'

The play 'Into The West' is being staged at a number of venues including the Dennis Scott Theatre, The Philip Sherlock Centre, Portmore Mall, Ardenne High and Glenmuir High. The play, by the British Theatre Group, Travelling Light, runs from November 29 to December 8.

Costume Party

The Squint Wear Studio will be hosting 'Something Hollows' ­ a Theatrical and Eccentric Costume Party today at Congo Grill, 66 1/2 Old Hope Road. They will showcase their clothing line and introduce their models.

Models on show

The Miguel models will be at
the Sts. Peter and Paul's annual Bar-b-que today.

Community Expo

The Community Expo will be held at the Arena today. The expo began yesterday and closes tomorrow. The expo starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.

Money Bingo

The CVM Sports Club presents 'Big-5 Money Bingo' today at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. There are lots of prizes to be won.

Annual event

The St. Thomas 4-H Club will be having the first of an annual event called 'The St. Thomas Achievement Run today starting at 11 a.m. It ends with a concert in the Paul Bogle Square at 3 p.m.

SATURDAY

Sports extravaganza

The Trelawny Division of the Jamaica Constabulary Force will be hosting its sports extravaganza tomorrow, at the Elletson Wakefield Centre in Falmouth.

Floral exhibition

The Ohara Ikebana Chapter in Jamaica will be hosting its annual floral exhibition. The two-day show will be held tomorrow, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Terra Nova Hotel. The show continues on Sunday December 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission: adults $200 and children $50.

Curry Goat feast

The Kiwanis Club of Eastern St. Andrew presents its annual 'Curry Goat Feed' tomorrow at the JPS Sports Club on Ruthven Road. The event starts at 12 noon.

Bazzar and Funday

Covenant Christian Academy and Children's Centre will host its annual fundraiser a 'Bazaar and Funday' tomorrow at 80 Hope Road. There will be lots of food, games and rides, prizes and surprises. Admission $50.

Fashion show

The Caribbean Agency for Fashion and Entertainment models will be staging its 'Gala Lawn Party and Fashion Show' tomorrow at Melvas Look up Lawn, Richmond, Christiana in Manchester at 8 p.m.

'Tun It Up ...

Profile and Adonai will play at 'Tun It Up and Mek Wi Bun It Dung' tomorrow at Lime Hall Community Centre, St. Ann. Admission $100.

Christmas Bingo

The St. Ann Chamber of Commerce presents a 'Pre-Christmas Bingo' at Coconut Grove Great House tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. Main prize is US$1,000, many other prizes and surprises. Part proceeds in aid of Mustard Seed Community in Murray Mount, St. Ann.

'Clash of t he Titans'

Crispy Dipsy's Promotion presents 'Clash of the Titans' tomorrow at Crispy Dipsy Restaurant, 9 Harbour Street, St. Ann's Bay (before the bus park). Dukie and Jamintel will square off. Admission $150.

Reggae live

Irie Vibes on Norman Washington Manley Boulevard, Negril, presents Live Reggae Music every Monday (Beach Party), Thursday (Ladies Night) and Saturday (Night Life). Music by Concrete Band, Admission free.

Rally

The Scout Association of Jamaica 'Cub Scout Section of the Movement' (boys 8-10 1/2 years old) will be holding its 'Annual Rally and Culturama' tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Baden Powell Scouts Memorial Headquarters, 2d Camp Road.

'This Walk'

The Wings of Eagles Children's Dance Workshop from the Miracle Open Bible Church hosts its production 'This Walk' tomorrow on the Church grounds at 33-39 Portmore Drive at 6 p.m. Admission $200 for adults, $100 for children.

Benefit concert

Consie Walters Hospice Benefit Concert by National Chorale of Jamaica at Sts. Peter and Paul Church will be held tomorrow at 6:30 p.m.

Talent in motion

Dancers, drummers, poets
featuring Jean Small, M'Bala, Amina Blackwood-Meeks at 1 Grosnovor Terrace on Saturday starting at 7 p.m. Admission is $100.

SUNDAY

Brunch

Little-White and Associates Ltd. will host a Pre-Christmas Old Time Sunday Brunch on Sunday December 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A variety of dishes will be available such as hominy corn porridge, ackee and saltfish, mackerel run dung with a difference and more. Admission is $400.

Christmas concert

The Jamaica Musical Theatre Company's Christmas Concert will be presented at the Alhambra Inn, Tucker Avenue in Mountain View on Sunday December 2 at 5:30 p.m. Admission $300 and $250 for senior citizens and students.

Breezes anniversary

Breezes Runaway Bay will host a series of events from Sunday December 2 to Friday December 7 to start their 17th Anniversary. The list of activities range from a Thanksgiving Service to a Beach Bashment. There will also be a Cultural show and a talent show.

Silent Unity celebrations

Silent Unity of Jamaica invites you to a special celebration service Sunday December 2 starting at 10 a.m. at the Unity of Jamaica, 87 Old Hope Road, Kingston 6.

The dynamic roots play 'It Wasn't Me' takes place at Upper Deck Parkway, Ocho Rios, on Sunday, December 2, at 8:30 p.m. Admission: $300 presold, $400 at the gate.

Jamrock Sports Bar and Grill located at 69 Knutsford Boulevard, beginning this Sunday will host 'Sunday Brunch' from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Harry's Bar will be hosting '100% Undiluted Roots Rock Reggae' this and every Sunday. Music by Rockers International sound station. The event starts at 6 p.m. Admission $100 before 10 p.m. and $200 thereafter.
