Problems stalk IT
The uncertainty in the Information Technology (IT) sector, sparked by the recent problems at Netserv Global Communication Limited, is nothing new to the youthful industry, touted as one of the answers to the nation's unemployment woes.

Phillips collars crime
National Security Minister, Dr. Peter Phillips, met with Gleaner editors last week and addressed specific issues of crime, violence and the safety of the nation. Here are some of the points made by the Minister.


Paulwell in a pickle
Minister of Industry, Commerce and Technology, Phillip Paulwell, will take the hot seat come Tuesday in Parliament. He has been summoned to Jamaica House about the Netserv account.


Minister concerned about signals
National Security Minister Dr. Peter Phillips said his presence at the funeral of late Arnett Gardens don William "Willie Haggart" Moore had forced him to take stock of the signals politicians send to the public by their actions.


Fullerton ordered to pay
Henry Fullerton, former head of the failed Caldon Group of Companies, has been ordered by the Supreme Court to pay loans amounting to over $600 million to the National Commercial Bank (NCB).
