WANNA BE enchanted in the discovery of new love?
All you need is a recent photograph of yourself, a description of your weight and a $500 processing fee, and you're off on a romantic adventure.

Launched recently at the Pollyanna Restaurant, the Circle of Friends dating club may be a sure-fire way to skip the mistletoe but still land a date during the Yuletide season.

"We arrange dates, weekend getaways, monthly parties, functions, trips and limousine services. Whenever we arrange dates, the person who requests it will be charged," said Betty Brown, director of the Circle of Friends dating club.

According to the rules of the dating club, the choice lies ultimately with the person using the service, the club only facilitates the encounter, all extra-curricular activities are solely your domain.

"Whenever you are given a number to call, the choice is yours as to who you date, when or where you meet. At requests, we'll suggest or recommend suitable places to visit or meet or simply just to hang out. For our international clients as well as our rural clients, we can assist you with any visit to our country or city or have someone visit you in yours," she says.

Same day, overnight or group trips are made available for a minimal fee.

"Sexual contact is not recommended for developing a friendship and is not a part of this company's policy," Miss Brown added.

There is no age limit but teenagers under 18 must get permission from their parents to join the club.

"We can find a friend for almost anyone out there, and there are millions of Jamaicans overseas, and other nationalities who are interested in our most famous resource the Jamaican people. I feel that Circle of Friends will be a great success," said Miss Brown.
