Ken McNeill will be missed

McNeill

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WAS very saddened to read of the passing of one of my old school friends, Dr. Ken McNeill. Along with his older brother Roy, we were at Munro College between 1931 and 1933.

Ken was an outstanding student, always happy-go-lucky, and popular with both the student body and the teaching staff. He seemed to be a very happy boy, despite the physical handicap from which he suffered, and which gave him the always good-natured name "hopping dick".

His photograph in The Gleaner brought back happy memories of 70-odd years ago. I even recall the occasions when the McNeill boys were visited at Munro by their father the Hon. E.A. McNeill. Those were happy days. I have never met his son, and I have lost touch with Roy.

But to all his surviving relatives, I tender my sincere condolence. He will be sorely missed by friends and patients.

I am etc.,
