PNP Gov't and scandals

THE EDITOR, Sir:

DURING THE past few days some of the facts surrounding the $180 million loan to Netserv have begun to surface by way of leaks, and investigative reporting.

It is interesting to note, however, that for several weeks, if not months, Opposition Spokesman on Finance Audley Shaw, has been crying out publicly and in Parliament about his concerns regarding the arrangements between the Government of Jamaica and Netserv. On every occasion the Minister gave his assurance that all was well.

Now another scandal? So what else is new? Was it not under the PNP government that we had the Iran Sugar deal Scandal and the Shell wavier scandal? Is it not under the PNP Government that we are now having the Netserv scandal? So, what else is new? The PNP administration is true to form, a scandal-ridden government.

I am etc,

DERRICK HAMILTON

P.O. Box 8

Lysson, St. Thomas
