Akhtar, Razzaq rout Windies
SHARJAH, UAE (AP): SHOAIB Akhtar and young all-rounder Abdur Razzaq bowled Pakistan to a 171-run victory yesterday over the West Indies on the fifth and final day of the first Test at Sharjah Stadium.

Ja too good for Guyana
JAMAICA ticked off their first victory in the 2002 Busta cricket series when they defeated Guyana in the nick of time by an impressive seven wickets at Sabina Park yesterday.


McKenley in hospital
TRACK and field legend Herb McKenley is recovering in hospital after suffering a stroke on Saturday. McKenley, one of Jamaica's most decorated Olympic athletes, has regained the use of his limbs and is being constantly monitored by doctors.
