What of South Coast development?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

GOVERNMENT HAS a way of giving its subjects strong doses of hope that puts us on a high and then walk away to plan for the next shot. What has become of the South Coast Development Project? We were told of a beautification plan for the Great Bay Beach; developing the groins (tide breakers) to accommodate sport, fishing etc.

Is the Old Harbour By-pass the development that we should see? We definitely need a more clear definition of areas. Great Bay and the Treasure Beach areas are south-west St. Elizabeth, not south.

I am, etc.,
