BULL BAY worked their way to the top of Group B in the A League with a 2-0 win over Seba United at Bull Pen in an incident-filled game.

A 37th minute penalty conversion by Christopher Wright and an 89th minute strike by the hulking Richard Lawrence gave them their win. The game was not of the greatest quality as both teams demonstrated poor control, concentration and a lack of vision.

Seba could have taken the lead in the 19th minute when Bull Bay defender Demar Stewart unintelligently brought down Omar Clarke in the box while he was dribbling away from the goal. The veteran Norman Foster stepped up and sent his shot high.

Bull Bay had a chance to go ahead in the 26th minute when a freekick from Milton Griffiths was played back across the goal by Davian Laing but Demetrio Billet could not get to the ball as he was felled by Venton Evans. Evans was promptly ejected by referee Donovan Dixon who issued his first of three red cards.

Everton Palmer followed Evans off the field when he was sent packing for foul and abusive language.

Bull Bay's lead finally came in the 37th minute when captain Andrew Williams was chopped down in the box and Wright converted.

Seba United played like the team with the numerical advantage for the rest of the first half and most of the second. This was still the case when they lost a third man.

Thirty-six minutes into the second half, Scott, who spent just 36 minutes on the field, took his leave after delivering a vicious elbow to the face of Laing who had a cut opened around his right eye.

Bull Bay finally scored their second goal in the 89th minute when Lawrence knocked in a ball passed to him by Stewart.
